A Bespoke Floral Workshop for a Bride-to-Be

There's something incredibly special about creating your own wedding flowers, especially when they're grown in your own garden.

Recently, I had the pleasure of hosting a bespoke one-to-one floral workshop for a lovely bride-to-be who wanted to learn how to create beautiful jam jar arrangements using only seasonal flowers and foliage from her garden. Keeping it natural was important to her, so I showed her how to use reusable materials like recycled jars and chicken wire rather than floral foam to create arrangements with the impact she wanted. Together, we explored which flowers and foliage worked well, how to condition them for the best vase life, and simple arranging techniques to create a relaxed, natural look with impact.

By the end of the session, she had the confidence to recreate the arrangements herself, along with plenty of practical tips for harvesting, preparing and styling her flowers on the big day.

Bespoke floral workshops are tailored to your vision, whether you're planning a wedding, celebrating a special occasion, or simply want to enjoy working with flowers you've grown yourself. There's nothing quite like seeing your own garden become part of your celebration.
